Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the control you keep over your own information.

1. Overview

This policy describes how Konke Sphere collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information when you use our website, shop, Academy, programmes and marketplace.

It applies to every brand in the ecosystem — Gi, Ladha, Botle, Seriri, Lenko and Uburu — because they are all operated by Konke Sphere.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, contact details, delivery address, order contents, programme or Academy enrolment details, marketplace application material, newsletter subscription and anything you write in an enquiry or support conversation.

Information collected automatically: technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location derived from your connection, pages viewed and the actions you take on the site, gathered so the site works and so we can improve it.

Information from payment providers: confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited identifying detail. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

To operate the ecosystem: fulfilling orders, arranging delivery, processing returns, managing enrolments and reviewing marketplace applications.

To communicate: order and dispatch confirmations, programme updates, replies to your enquiries, and — only where you have subscribed — newsletters you can leave at any time.

To improve and protect: understanding which pages and products are useful, diagnosing faults, and detecting fraud or misuse.

4. Children and young people

Several of our programmes are designed for children and teenagers. Where a participant is under the age of majority in their country, enrolment and communication are handled through a parent, guardian or the participating school.

We collect only what a programme actually requires, and we do not use children's information for marketing.

5. Sharing

We share information with the service providers who make the platform work: payment providers, couriers and shipping partners, our commerce and hosting platforms, email delivery and the assistant that powers our support chat.

Each provider receives only what it needs for its task, and is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our participants, our team and our customers.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local browser storage to keep your basket, remember preferences and measure how the site is used. Blocking them in your browser is possible, but some features — such as the basket — depend on them.

7. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require.

Access to personal information inside our team is limited to the people who need it, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. You may also object to a particular use, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message, without affecting order or programme communications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request.

9. International transfers

Because we ship internationally and use global service providers, your information may be processed in a country other than your own. Where that happens we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the platform develops. The version published on this page is always the current one, and the date below reflects the last change.

Our published contact details will appear on the contact page; until then, use the contact form for any privacy request.
